 Very basic clear soup *

Ingredients:

  • meaty beef soup bone
  • salt and pepper
  • large can of tomato pieces



Method:


  • Put bone, salt and pepper in a large soup pot filled with water.
  • Bring to a boil and then reduce heat to a slow simmer.
  • Simmer for about two hours.
  • Remove bone.
  • Add tomato.
  • Cook for about 30 minutes.

  • Let it cool.
  • Refrigerate overnight.
  • Skim any fat off the top.
  • Heat and serve. Enjoy the simplicity of a clear soup.
