Beef Stew here has 2 recipes. You need these both to have it to taste good.

Season flour for beef
1/2 cup flour
1/4 cup corn starch
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon thyme
1 tablespoon oregano

Mix this in a dry bowl with a whisk

Beef Stew Main Recipe
3 pounds of beef, any size you like. It should not be able to be cut with knife when done.
Coat beef in the season flour in a bowl and dump in the large pot that is hot with about a cup of oil. Yes you do need to dump the extra flour in with the meat.

4 stalks of celery
5 carrots
2 onions
5 shalt
Cut the vegetables to a 1/2 inch dice. Toss these in after you sear the meat for 2 mins. Let these cook for 5 mins.

750 ml bottle red wine
3 cups beef stock
2 tablespoons parsley
1 tablespoon thyme
6 oz tomato paste

add all and cook till the meat is well done add salt and pepper to your taste.
